Vintage Murano glass lamp from Donghia with brass hardware, hollow and handblown. The Vela lamp was named for the shape of its base, a sail. The square sail shape is wide, but thin, providing a delicate quality to the design. The clear glass is accentuated by etched ripples in either clear with silver or clear with gold glass that look like ripples in water.
